INHORGENTA a trend-setting and influential jewellery, watch and gemstones show, is the largest hosted by Germany. It is one of the most respected jewellery platforms in Europe and attracts the best of manufacturers, retailers, designers, and media from across the globe. I have been privileged this year to have received not just a formal invite, but also an invite to speak on jewellery styling and emerging trends.
INHORGENTA 2026 hosted about 900 exhibitors with over 1200 brands from 35 countries with their latest innovations and collections. The show spanned 6 halls across 64,000+ square meters and had over 25,000 trade visitors from 94 countries. The guiding theme this year was “Craftsmanship”, a tribute to the passion, quality, and artisan expertise that is the hallmark of the industry.

The inauguration of INHORGENTA Munich 2026 was an electrifying event. The energy at the inauguration was through the roof with brilliant industry visionaries and the amazing Messe München team at the podium. I was looking forward to the dedicated zones like the FHH Cultural Space, Wedding World, and the special exhibition The Atelier.
I explored the show and was left in complete awe of the stunning craftsmanship on display. Intricate carvings, sculptured gold waves, bold mixed metal pieces, fluid gem settings, chunky textured bangles, timepieces and modern future forward watches…..the beauty was endless!!
For the first time INHORGENTA had a clearly defined theme, ‘Craftsmanship”. True to this, Hall B2 exuded a workshop vibe with the curated MasterCrafts Live. Many exhibitors also had live demonstrations. With over 30 stations where visitors were encouraged to experience engraving, gemstone setting, watch assembly and other craftsmanship up close, it was an existential experience.
The brilliantly curated ‘The Atelier – The Journey of Jewelry Craftsmanship from Tradition to Innovation’ was the highlight of the floor. An immersive spatial installation it brought together the past, present and the future of the industry. With traditional jewelry craftsmanship in stride with futuristic stenography along AI-based visuals….it was an unforgettable experience.
Tirisi registered their presence with their unique collection, inspired by global cities like Milano, Venice, Doha, Amsterdam and their charm. Their collection included fine lightweight jewels, crafted in 18 karat gold with microscopic diamonds, gems, and semi precious stones for daily wear. The Tirisi Moda Moda collection, flaunted a warm, and cool combination of gold and silver.
Brigitte Adolph and her wearable gold textiles were a journey into how pure craftsmanship transforms precious metals into delicate and intricate hand woven lace. These feminine designs are a captivating poetic charm woven in gold exuding grace and elegance.
This Italian master designer had me floored with their lightweight yet bold and voluminous designs. Their ‘Mezzaluna’ collection felt like liquid sunlight that flexed with every move. Al Coro brought high fashion glam and comfort together seamlessly.
Even with all the glittering distractions I could not stay away too long from my true love… Gemstones. With leading manufacturers and brands showcasing their unique and rare coloured gemstones collection I was in heaven.
The exclusive time pieces at the show drew me into their charming embrace. These masterpieces were crafted by skilled horologists who have honed their watch making skills over generations. Intricate carved and engraved workmanship hand in hand with the precision of time. I also witnessed the magic of future forward designs in cahoots with technology.
The global press walk with fellow jewellery lovers became a collection of cherished moments and a whole lot of clicks. Together we walked through all the halls admiring and capturing extraordinary pieces looking for our next story. The coming together of heritage and modern technology left me in awe.
The ninth edition of the INHORGENTA Awards held on the 21st was a celebration of craftsmanship, design , technical precision, material expertise and creative vision. Awarded in 10 categories, this coveted award was a feather in the crown for stalwarts from the jewellery, gemstone and watch industry.
The INHORGENTA, Munich 2026 was an experience I will cherish forever. Be it the magnificent offerings by leading designers ( jewelry and watch), the live craftsmanship stations, the conversations, the opportunity to speed interview masters of the craft, to revel in sheer luxury…every single moment was a rare gem!
