The Hong Kong twin jewellery shows return in ‘two shows, two venues’ mode!
The 40th Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the 10th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), returned in the “Two Fairs, Two Venues” format.
The Diamond, Gem & Pearl at AsiaWorld-Expo was held from 27 February to 2 March. The show brought together a wide range of diamonds, gemstones and pearl exhibitors in 11 zones, including three high-end zones: Hall of Fine Diamond, Treasures of Nature and Treasures of Ocean.
The Jewellery Fair was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29 February to 4 March. The show had 18 zones, including the Hall of Extraordinary, Designer Galleria, and Hall of Fame.
My day 1 at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show was by Gandhi Enterprises Co. Ltd, where each ethically sourced gemstone is cut and polished at their lapidary to strict standards in calibrated sizes in various shapes like rounds (diamond cut / brilliant cut), squares (princess cut), ovals, pears, marquise, baguette, free forms, etc. Mr Vikas Gandhi shared “We are here for long term relationships and want to ensure that our partners grow together with us. We are here to listen to you and deliver the right gemstones, and we ensure that our cost is kept competitively low without compromising on the quality of the gemstones”

The necklace is made in 18k Rose Gold with 16.64ct Pink Diamonds, 23.99ct of White Diamonds, a 2ct Pear shaped diamond in the head, Black Diamonds & Moonstones to detail the eye, and a grade Autore South Sea Keshi pearls which were collected over 8 years.
It was a wonderful experience being at the Twin Show and meeting my friends from the industry and admiring some spectacular jewels from around the world! I now look forward to the 2025 edition!
